
OTOA Tactical Team Leader/Operations Planning Course

Sawmill Creek Conference Center in Huron, Ohio
This three-day course is designed for current and future tactical team leaders who assist in planning and implementing tactical operations. The focus will be on leadership principles and tactics for leading an entry team element. Topics include: legal issues, personnel requirements, selection, multi-jurisdictional operations, surveillance missions, response to barricade, suicide high risk warrant service and hostage rescue situations.
Dynamic Entry vs. Surround & Call – Out vs. Breach & Hold philosophies will be analyzed and discussed. Students will participate in operational planning scenarios and tabletop exercises involving actual tactical operations.
$50 OTOA member, $80 for non-member, ($30 goes towards your membership)
