Chris Johnson is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 17 years of experience, currently serving as a Patrolman assigned to Special Operations with the Westlake Police Department. With a strong background in tactical operations, training, and leadership, Chris has made substantial contributions to both local and regional public safety efforts.
In addition to his role in patrol operations, Chris has served for over 15 years with the Westshore Enforcement Bureau SWAT, where he currently holds the position of Assistant Commander. His expertise in high-risk operations and tactical leadership has been vital in ensuring team readiness and operational effectiveness.
Chris is also a respected instructor, having spent the past nine years as a Training Cadre member with the Ohio Tactical Officers Association (OTOA) RED Team. He teaches a range of courses including Basic and Advanced SWAT and Advanced Team Tactics, helping to shape the next generation of tactical professionals across Ohio.
Before his law enforcement career, Chris served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as an 0311 Infantry Rifleman from 2001 to 2005, where he developed the foundational discipline, combat skills, and leadership principles that continue to guide his work today.
