The Tactical Team Leader course exposes current and future SWAT team commanders, team leaders, crisis negotiators, patrol and detective supervisors, administrators, and road patrol officers to contemporary critical incident response issues, tactics, and procedures.
Also included in the curriculum are relevant critical incident reviews.
Practical applications will include scouting and planning warrants, small team planning, tactics to resolve critical incidents, and reviewing tactical incidents and videos.
Attendees will participate in group discussions, write operations orders, develop training plans, and critique and evaluate tactics and decisions based on a principal-based SWAT and patrol response decision-making process.
