Dustin Glass
Police Sergeant | Criminal Investigations Expert | Tactical and Academic Instructor

Dustin Glass is a veteran law enforcement professional with approximately 17 years of service, bringing deep experience in patrol, investigations, tactical operations, and instruction. He currently serves as a Sergeant with the Perrysburg Township Police Department, assigned as the School Resource Officer at Penta Career Center.

Dustin began his law enforcement career after graduating from the Dayton Police Academy in 2007 and served with the Dayton Police Department for four years before joining Perrysburg Township PD in 2011. His career includes nearly five years in road patrol and more than six years in the Detective Bureau, where he specialized in complex investigations. During that time, he was also appointed as a Task Force Officer with the United States Secret Service, serving in that federal capacity for over a year.

Dustin was a member of the Wood County Regional Special Response Team (SRT) for seven years, where he served as both an Operator and Team Leader, gaining extensive experience in high-risk operations and tactical command.

In addition to his operational background, Dustin is a dedicated instructor. He currently serves on the Ohio Tactical Officers Association (OTOA) RED Team Cadre, delivering advanced tactical training across the state. He is also a law enforcement instructor with Owens Community College, where he teaches OPOTA-certified courses at the Owens Police Academy. Previously, he spent six years as an adjunct professor at the University of Toledo, teaching courses in Introduction to Policing and Cybercrime & Digital Forensics.

He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo.
